My writing journey started when I learned to read. I had a book in my hand, usually about horses, during most of my formative years. I always thought I’d write someday. During the doldrums of covid, I found an online writing seminar given by Redemption Press, and that changed everything. I’m excited to announce my first release, Melting into Love. It’s a sweet romance novella, part of a six book e-set on Amazon and Kindle. The set is called Proposals Gone Awry. You’ll enjoy the fun stories by some better known authors and some other new authors, like me. Watch for the release date. I can’t wait for you to meet Tiffany and Brent!
More about the book:
Tiffany is single again. One bad marriage was enough, so she isn’t looking for love. She lost twenty pounds and is happier than she’s been in a very long time. Why would she want to get married and complicate her life? But her life is already complicated by the things she’s hanging on to. Is there any room for someone new in her life? Her son seems to think so and sets her up with a friends’ dad. Can Tiffany find a way to let go of the past to make room for a future?
Brent wants to love again. He misses having a family around him. His daughter took off for Seattle after college and didn’t look back. He and his son, Tyler, made it alone for years, after his wife’s death, but when his son introduced him to a friend’s mom, he found the partner he’d been waiting for. Ever the optimist, Brent forges ahead with his plans to ask Tiffany to marry him despite her protests that she’s not ready.
Tiffany isn’t the only one who isn’t ready for this step. Can Brent’s bright hopes for the future sustain them all? Will opposition and obstacles persuade him to reconsider, or will his belief that together they can weather any storm prevail?
